Our goal is to offer excellence in service,

Our mission is to show the young people of
Real de Catorce that through tourism they
can and must live better, may they in turn
transmit this to their children, families
and friends.

Our objective is to foster
architectural, cultural, and
ecological awareness within
the community, in order to
improve our environment
and place Real de Catorce
amongst the best tourist
destinations.

Petra Puente was born March 13, 1969 in the community of La Luz near Real de Catorce, and eventually moved to the city of San Luis Potosi to study Tourist Business Administration.

Thomas Peter was born March 14, 1969 in Switzerland. He relocated to Real de Catorce in 1994 to work at a friend's carpentry, and to teach his trade to the town's youngsters.

They were married in 1995 and opened Mesón de la Abundancia in December 1996. They are proud parents to Sebastian and Bruno, ages 7 and 3.
